I’m Carol

The human behind Play To Communicate SLP PLLC. Working as a speech-language therapist in New York City, I have partnered with over 100 diverse families and children diagnosed with Autism and various communication challenges across schools, daycares, homes, private practices, and non-profit organizations. My journey has been filled with wonder and joy as I collaborate with families and assist children in reaching new communication milestones.

In addition to my private practice, I serve as a full-time “social development consultant” at New York University. In this role, I provide support to speech-language therapists who work with Autistic students in elementary, middle, and high schools throughout New York City. My therapeutic approach focuses on fostering connections with children through play and interest-based activities. I also prioritize collaboration with caregivers and educators to exchange knowledge and strategies. My ultimate goal for every client I work with is that they not only receive high-quality speech and language therapy services, but also to feel truly seen, heard, respected, and empowered to communicate.
